Dr Patrick Kuhn

Dr Patrick Kuhn has over fifteen years clinical experience treating musculoskeletal conditions.

Patrick started his working life in Far North Queensland as a jackeroo on cattle stations. He then made a quantum leap and moved to Melbourne to study dance at the Victorian College of the arts. Patrick then moved on to health care, he started out by completing a diploma in Shiatsu and Chinese medicine which then led to his interest in hands on health. After experiencing the benefits of osteopathy and wanting to further his knowledge he enrolled in the five year Osteopathic course at RMIT University Melbourne.

Patrick combines both a structural and cranial osteopathic approach. His aim through treatment is to restore biomechanical alignment and reduce physiological stresses which lead to physical pain, poor posture and ill health. Patrick has ten years experience teaching Pilates and combines it with his osteopathic treatment to provide a comprehensive whole body approach to his patients care.

Patrick has extensive experience in treating chronic headache's and neck pain along with spinal and sports injuries. He also has a special interest in treating infants and children with cranial osteopathy and assisting women through pregnancy, preparation for labor, and post natal recovery. Patrick has an ongoing commitment to further studies specifically in the areas of cranial osteopathy and he is completing a post graduate certification in Anthroposophical medicine (Rudolf Steiner).
